you want a late Christmas present? Until 28 February, the Museum of the twentieth century, new art gem just opened in the Palazzo Arengario next to the Duomo in Milan, is completely free to enter. More than a museum, the building (designed by Italo Rota) is an independent work that contains all the history of Italian art of the last century. A hundred years long journey that starts from the "fourth state" of Pellizza Volpedo by Arte Povera and reaches through avant-garde, Futurism, Pop Art and every expression that has characterized the national art scene until the '90s. Balla, Depero, Fontana, Manzoni, Mari, the most important artists of the period are summoned to in this space for more than capable of giving a unique view across the Piazza Duomo.
